Hi! My name is Dewi van der Meulen, I am a Rotterdam based illustrator.
I like combining facts and information with our inner emotional world to create a fresh visual language: colorful, bold and rich in emotion. I strive for a certain sensitivity and accessibility in my work that allow the viewer to easely approach difficult subjects ranging from complex economic systems to emotionally heavy story’s.
I love experimenting with all kinds of materials and techniques, combining the new and modern digital tools with the traditional crafts to find the perfect match for any subject.
